Monthly Mischief | February
Wow February, you’ve been a busy one! Here’s some of our favourite bits from the month...
NEW JEWELLERY It’s been a BIG month for new jewellery! Our colourful Contemporary collection landed, alongside three new Name Necklace prints and two new charms, plus our cheeky little Monkey arrived to celebrate Chinese New Year. And if that wasn’t enough, we also launched some new and exclusive jewellery making workshops.
BUNCH OF TOSSERS We took our sequins, sparkles and highly competitive spirit along to the Great Spitalfields Pancake Race, raising money for London’s Air Ambulance. Armed with a frying pan, lucky Lobster and some serious bling, our tossing skills were put to the test… we may not have won, but it was close, this close!
A NIGHT AT MOTEL CLIO We checked into Motel Clio to see “Do Not Disturb”, Clio Peppiatt’s AW16 collection at LFW. With silk pyjamas, bomber jackets, bunny slippers and amazing accessories by you know who, we instantly fell in love with the whole lot! Our playful collaboration included a cute Bell Boy Badge, Dental Bling Brooches in multiple shades of pink and two adorable mini suitcases, which we’d all like to keep!
MAGICAL LANTERN FESTIVAL It only seemed right that our new Monkey Necklace should celebrate Chinese New Year in style at the Magical Lantern Festival in Chiswick. As well as taking a cheeky selfie with the Year of the Monkey lantern, we spent the day shooting some exciting AW16 snaps and generally monkeying around the incredible (and absolutely ginormous!) hand-sculpted lanterns.
TASTE THE RAINBOW Rainbow bagels have come to town and they are right up our street - quite literally too, as you can buy them at Brick Lane Beigel, just down the road from our Brick Lane store. We’re slightly obsessed with all the playful and brightly coloured food out there at the moment, so it goes without saying that right now these are our new favourite lunch time treat.
That’s all for now, we’ll be back with more news in March!
