A Wild West London Fashion Week party
Yee-haw! We rounded everyone up last night for our London Fashion Week hoedown at the Covent Garden boutique. There was sawdust on the floor, gold facepaint daubed on cheeks, and feathers in everyone's hair. Here's Lisa working a squaw style in one of the paper feather headdresses we were giving out: Pineapple Dance Studios' Can-Do Dancers brought their finest music hall moves to the party, spinning, high-kicking, and doing the splits, dressed in voluminous tutus from Beyond Retro: The Severed Limb provided us with some good old-fashioned foot-tappin' tunes. They're a handsome group of gentlemen with a pretty lady on the ukelele. Isn't this blue pearl accordion beautiful? London perfumers Penhaligons were on hand with bottles of scent to make sure our evening was finely fragranced. Watch out for a special Tatty Devine and Penhaligons project launching very soon! You heard it here first. We also had delicious drinks courtesy of Courvoisier. We mixed their lovely cognac with ginger beer and slices of lemon for a home-on-the-range liquor. It was mighty fine. Were you lucky enough to grab a goody bag? The cowgirl booty included make-up from 17 Cosmetics, who sent a giant bag of goodies to our studio the afternoon before the party. We like it when that happens. Thank you to everyone who came down! You can see all the photos over on Facebook.
