Chelsea Textiles Project Judging
Yesterday I was pleased to be invited to be on a panel of judges to help judge an interiors textile design showcase at Chelsea School of Art and Design. My fellow judges were a marvelous selection of stylish ladies who included Lucia van der Post from the FT, Nina Campbell world renowned interior designer, Alison Cork from 60 minute make over and Lina Hellgren from the design team at H&M. The work on display was competing for a chance to be produced and sold by made.com, and was in collaboration with Monkey Biz, a group of South African beaders who make beautiful work and help with many local projects including supporting women with HIV. The work was all of such a high standard it was really hard to judge but here are a selection of some of my favourites -
