Tatty Devine 2024 Wrapped

2024: a year where we started our 25th Birthday celebrations, created many amazing jewellery collaborations, dressed to impress (pretty much) every day and so much more! As we tie the ribbon on another year, we’re celebrating all the amazing memories we’ve shared with the Tatty Devine community this year - here’s a highlight from each month!

But first, here’s our Tatty Devine Wrapped:

JANUARY

World Book Day collaboration coming soon...

January was time to get our New Year’s Resolution to ‘be more bookish’ in full swing as we opened the page on our Tatty Devine X World Book Day collaboration. As spotted on BBC Breakfast, this ode to stories our Co-Founders, Rosie and Harriet love: we’re talking murder mysteries and fantasy novels to Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland and Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. Fully stacked for book lovers, 10% from each product sold donates to the charity.

Keep reading for how we celebrated the big day in style!

FEBRUARY

Yes, we know we technically opened our Neal Street location in November ‘23 but we officially cut the ribbon to 36 Neal Street on a sequin-adorned Thursday in February. Revealing our iconic rainbow wall, badges made by good friend and artist, Mark Pawson and SS24 collection to over 200 guests: it’s our party of the year! Make sure you check out the pics from the night, just tap here.

MARCH

March saw us let loose on the literary world as we celebrated World Book Day. We welcomed our tiniest Tatty Devine lovers for child-friendly storytime with "everyone's favourite pantomime dame", Mama G who told the tale of Elmer the Patchwork Elephant. And the fun didn’t stop there, our Co-Founder, Harriet hot-stepped over to Bethnal Green’s Young V&A for a special workshop that translated stories into colour-pop charms for backpacks to book bags.

Indie music lovers, this one’s for you! With our Neal Street store perfectly inaugurated, it was time for another party! Covent Garden went all-out indie with DJ sets to make you dance, goodie bags from Glisten Cosmetics and the best-dress guestlist in Central London.

Tatty Devine x Gossip Beth Ditto Brooch

Celebrating the return of American indie icons, April saw the release of music-inspired jewellery we weren’t able to keep a secret. Designed in collaboration with Gossip and drawing on inspiration from their newest record to most iconic lyrics as well as lead singer Beth Ditto’s instantly recognisable look, indie sleaze met glossy laser cut acrylic in this ultra-cool collection that gives back. Between £2-£7 per piece sold is donated to support a charity close to the band’s heart, Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) UK who provide medical care where it’s needed most.

MAY

What is the highlight of every Tatty Devine collector's year? Our Annual Sample Sale! JUNE

Enter, The Printed Peanut. Kicking off a summer of working with people with love: our collaboration with illustrator Louise Lockhart aka The Printed Peanut transformed joyful risographs into joyful accessories for everyday styling.

At this point in the year, you can tell we love a launch party and this time we hopped foot over to East London to join our friends at Luna & Curious for a preview party. Soundtracked by a live accordion performance, sipping on cocktails and ‘oohs’ and ahhs’ over the upcoming collection, it was a riot of colour!  Discover the full collection yourself.

As the UK ramped up for the General Election, we joined forces with artist Jeremy Deller to turn his head-turning posters that popped up over the UK into wearable protest jewellery, as featured in The Guardian

JULY

LOVE LETTERS Statement Necklace | Tatty Devine X Morag Myerscough

More colour, more joy, Morag! Making a colourful return, our second jewellery collaboration with artist Morag Myerscough hit the shelves in July. Inspired by her incredible large-scale structures and eye-catching colourful installations, this dopamine dressing collection drew inspiration from Myerscough’s recent works with the 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics and ongoing projects with Blackpool residents and arts organisation, LeftCoast*.

Joining us in our Covent Garden store adorned with her work: Morag Myerscough, and her trust pooch Elvis, sat down with our Creative Director, Harriet, to talk about the process of designing this collection, the inspiration behind it and the joy of being colourful! Catch the conversation below…

The juice is loose!” As Beetlejuice mania hit worldwide, we dropped our official Beetlejuice X Tatty Devine collection, inspired by the original movie, ahead of the highly-anticipated release of Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice. Bringing the legacy of 80s cinema alive, our Covent Garden store turned spooky as we previewed the Halloween-ready jewellery with a film screening and snacks from our friends at Tony’s Chocolonely, Proper Corn, Nohrlund Drinks & XOXO soda!

SEPTEMBER

You’re a winner! We head down to the go-to marketplace for art enthusiasts with our Co-Founder, Harriet’s curated pop-up shop at the Art Car Boot Fair. Armed with laser cut acrylic hoops: we bought along our Name Necklace Hoopla for the chance to WIN our signature word jewellery. All you had to do was land a hoop over archival ‘Rosie and Harriet’ rag dolls, created by artist Rachael Matthews, there were LOTS of laughs!

OCTOBER

Sparkling Silver Parakeet Party Necklace made from acrylic

“So tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1999” It’s time to blow out the candles on our 25th Birthday cake! Starting a year of celebrations as we enter a quarter-century of Tatty Devine jewellery, we turned a selection of iconic statement necklaces silver - discover our party-ready collection here and keep your eyes peeled for even more fun!

NOVEMBER

Goodbye Halloween, hello Christmas! Team Tatty were fully in the festive spirit as soon as 1st November landed, and what better way to keep the mood high than a Christmas decoration workshop? Inspired by Mexican folk art, The Printed Peanut’s Instagram viral golden decorations and the Tatty Devine X The Printed Peanut Golden Edit: guide by Louise Lockhart, our community crafted their very own decorations from recycled tomato puree tubes while tucking into a Tunnocks tea cake - or two!

Moon and star chain drop earrings handmade from galaxy swirl acrylic

November also saw stellar jewellery return in new colourways with our iconic La Luna Moons, now in Galaxy Swirl and a stop-off in the Medieval Ages as we designed brass-rubbing inspired jewellery for the British Library’s Medieval Women: In Their Own Words exhibition. Join our Co-Founders on their visit…

It’s the end of the year but we’re not slowing down just yet: we had one more collaboration drop in December. Wow, what a year and there’s even more to come in 2025 - see you then!
