Deluxe Fries Necklace workshop

Fallen for our new fast food inspired collection? We couldn't resist recreating some of our favourite diner classics and movie theatre favourites in Perspex, just in time for summer. From cheeseburgers to fried eggs, fries to popcorn, we've got it covered! Last week, we invited some very special guests to join us for an exclusive preview at gourmet hot dog den, Dirty Bones. Well, where could be better? Sneak peeks weren't the only thing on the menu. Our jewellery making experts were on hand to teach everyone how to make a Deluxe Fries Necklace, complete with sparkling Swarovski crystal ketchup. We couldn't wait to get the evening started... and neither could the Dirty Bones team! They were all decked out in tasty pieces from the collection: The evening began as all evenings should: cocktail time! Kristabel of I Want You To Know, Carrie of Wish Wish Wish and Olivia of What Olivia Did tested Dirty Bones' delicious creations... (We recommend the Top Dog!)

As we sipped, everyone took their first look at the new jewellery. Deluxe Ketchup Necklace and Hot Dog Necklace, anyone? Don't forget the popcorn, egg and chips! Of course, we couldn't reveal the new jewellery without the food that inspired it. Everyone tucked into Dirty Bones' signature hot dogs and fries, complete with homemade marshmallow and bourbon BBQ sauce. Yes, it was just as heavenly as it sounds... After lots (and lots!) of fries, we settled down to the jewellery making. Store star and workshop expert Charlotte led our guests in how to make their very own Deluxe Fries Necklace. Armed with everything they could possibly need to get crafty, our bloggers slowly and steadily embellished their Perspex fries with glittering Swarovski crystals for a luxurious ketchup effect. Steady hands! Lauren of Pocket Rocket Fashion wasted no time getting to grips with the glue. Working with tiny crystals is fiddly work so it was total concentration all round! Kristabel was a dab hand with her cocktail stick, carefully positioning each gem in the perfect place. Ta-da! One finished Deluxe Fries Necklace! Bethany a.k.a. Arched Eyebrow couldn't resist wearing her handiwork straight away: You might just recognise Hanni Bow. When she's not off styling pretty pastel shoots, she's our Brick Lane store star! All done! Now Carrie can keep her fries obsession close to her heart...

"Say Cheese(burger!)" Everyone proudly showed off their sparkling new Deluxe Fries Necklaces at the end of the night. It looks like Team Tatty has some serious jewellery making competition:
