"I was so excited when Tatty Devine fans voted for the Banana Necklace to return. It's such a classic piece and I just had to wear it to our 15th Birthday Collection press preview at Southbank Centre. I seem to remember that I was listening to lots of Velvet Underground when I was designing it and there's a definite nod to Andy Warhol. It's a bit cheeky, too! Who could resist it?"
"I really love the La Luna Moon Necklace. Rosie and I have always loved celestial themes and there's a real Nineties feel to it, too. We're always looking for new materials to work in and it's the first time we used the beautiful opalescent Perspex. I couldn't believe it when Mary Portas tweeted a photo of herself wearing it before the collection even launched!"
"The Cutlass Necklace is inspired by the high seas and swashbuckling pirates. In fact, the entire Spring Summer 2006 collection was nautical themed. We'd just started working with our very own laser cutter and couldn't resist experimenting with etching the silver mirror Perspex. It holds a special place in my heart, especially as I wore it to Pirate Day in Hastings and helped set a new Guinness World Record!"
Thanks, Harriet! Stay tuned to find out Rosie's top picks on the blog next week.
