New Jewellery Making Workshops!

Hello, I'm Charlotte! You may have met me propping up the till or leading jewellery making classes at our Brick Lane store. I'm the Workshop and Events Executive and Sales Advisor at Team Tatty, but when I'm not buffing perspex and counting crystals, I enjoy playing Dungeons and Dragons (badly) and matcha lattes from our almost neighbour Holy Shot!

We've been working on some really exciting new designs and brought back some old favourites to get your pliers going, so without further ado: ready, set.....MAKE!

JOIN THE SPACE RACE Set phasers to stun, adjust your Barberella* 'do and get the kettle on! The Cosmic Galaxy Necklace workshop looks deceptively easy, but once you start arranging celestial charms onto their very own galaxy (okay, chain) I guarantee it will pass by like we're in warp speed. We've already started preparing a suitably starry Spotify playlist to accompany the make, current studio favourites are  'I Lost My Heart To A Starship Trooper', 'Man on the Moon' and there might be a little Gang Starr, too! *Silver go-go boots optional.

GET READY FOR CHRISTMAS Deck yourself in the cutest decorations, ever. I can totally see this Bauble Necklace on Endora from classic TV show, Bewitched. I can't wait to string these sparkling retro baubles onto a gold or silver colour chain, then I'm all set to rock around the Christmas tree...or whip up a Snowball cocktail for the store girls. Cheers!

KEEP IT CLASSIC! So many colours to choose from, only 1 hour and 30 mins to select and make up your Bunting Necklace design! Think orange, lime green and speckled Memphis print bunting pieces for a spooky necklace fit for Halloween, or classic bright colours for a pop of colour on grey days.

TURN OVER A NEW LEAF If you just can’t wait to get your hands on a set of pliers, we have a workshop for you THIS Wednesday! A nod back to our AW11 collection, the Climbing Ivy Necklace reminds me of when I first started helping out in the Brick Lane shop on frosty weekends; attempting to wrestle the HUGE Forest Cluster Necklace into our vintage display cabinets and listening to The Organ's 'Grab That Gun' album, non stop. This 2016 incarnation features a delicate strand of climbing glitter, mirror and matt gold Hedera leaves that you join together with jump rings. Even if you're not remotely green fingered (like me!) you can still proudly say that you cultivated this beauty!

VERY SUPERSTITIOUS! We've kept a spooky surprise under our capes for long enough, and in just a few hours you’d snapped up ALL the tickets to our Mystery Halloween Necklace Workshop! If you missed out on a spooky spot, book yourself onto our Crystal Skull Necklace Workshop instead! Line up these colourful craniums in any order you like, before trying your hand at gluing on their sparkling crystal peepers - the tricky bit! One of our workshop assistants, Lauren will be trekking across Mexico in October, just in time for the Day of the Dead holiday, so we'll be thinking of her whilst getting to grips with our pliers.
