Pukka up!
We like free stuff (who doesn't?). And we like tea. And we particularly like FREE TEA which arrives BY SURPRISE! That's what happened this week when the lovely people at Pukka (nope, we've never met them before) sent us a whole range of their lovely teas by complete surprise! Aren't the boxes pretty? They have little trapeze people on them, a bit like our Trapeze Necklace, but in more drinkable form. Leigh arranged them around some flowers she'd brought in from her garden. It was like the last of summer, welcoming in a whole winter's worth of comfort. Our kitchen shelves are now looking delightful, and at tea o'clock delicious scents of chamomile, marshmallow, lavender and peppermint fill the studio. Thank you Pukka. We're really enjoying our teas. This isn't the first time we've been sent free tea. In fact, around this time last year, the people at Yorkshire Tea sent us a tea mountain by surprise. Well, it arrived in two big boxes, but we built a mountain and then joyfully knocked it down, in the kind of brew-related japes you'd expect from a true British company. Funnily enough, the Yorkshire Tea supplies had run out the exact day before the Pukka tea arrived. Now all we need is some free biscuits. Anyone? Anyone?
