Take A Trip Behind The Scenes...

Yawn! 🥱 Throwback to 8 am one sunny morning last month, when Team Tatty gathered up our gear and headed to Mare Street’s finest: Glassmint Studio, to get our photo shoot on! Stick with us as we take you behind the scenes on a Tatty Devine shoot and maybe even drop a hint or two about what’s coming to a store near you!

First up: we check off every piece of jewellery, hazelnut oat lattes in hand, to make sure we’ve not forgotten anything… yep, we’re fancy on a Friday morning!  Done! Just a casual 90 or so necklaces, earrings, brooches, rings and hair slides, ready for their close up today. Phew!

Store stars Hollie and Meg have been busy whipping together oversized paper props to match the top-secret designs we’re snapping today. What on earth does Harriet Vine have up her sleeve? Acid bright planets, unfurling tape measures and… antique vases?

HOW cute is Production Assistant Jender’s outfit? *frantically searches ebay for vintage Dickies overalls!* The soundtrack on set? Model Chai's playlist kept us going with a lil’ Arianna Grande and a hint of Fifth Harmony, everything we could ever need to keep everyone going...

We’ve got wardrobe envy! Our team love sourcing the *perfect* look for each piece, from scouring the vintage shops a stone’s throw from our Shoreditch studio: think Beyond Retro and Atika, to brands we all love and rep in store like Monki, and even charity shops, the thrill of the chase for a rainbow print knit with an exact neckline perfect for *that* statement necklace in the right size is just too exciting!

Brr! We need to take a leaf out of Harriet’s shoot look: her favourite Mary Wyatt London tee, a birthday gift from co-founder Rosie and layered over a thermal long sleeve to keep out that March chill. Crank up the heat already! Oh, and we guess there’s a sneak peek here, somewhere…
