Tatty Devine teams up with The Girl Effect Live
This Sunday 20th July, join us at Girl Effect Live: day of celebration, creation and conversation about the power of girls to break the cycle of global poverty.
The Girl Effect is a movement. Founded in 2008 by the Nike Foundation, it champions the unique potential of adolescent girls to end poverty for themselves, their families, their communities, their countries and the world. There are 250 million adolescent girls in poverty. By investing in their education, health and economic future, we have a better chance of removing obstacles to their success such as child marriage, teen pregnancy, HIV/aids and ultimately breaking the cycle of poverty.
We're very excited to team up with The Girl Effect for such an important and inspiring event. We've created three limited edition necklaces which are exclusively available to buy at Girl Effect Live. Join Team Tatty Devine at Vibe Bar on the day to get creative and personalise your Girl Effect Necklace with sparkling Swarovski crystals, too!
It's set to be an amazing day with spoken word performances, comedy, live graffiti, Slambassadors UK workshops and free nail art by Wah Nails. Don't miss the exclusive 'Girls Reframed' exhibition and an immersive theatre experience by Punchdrunk Enrichment, too!
The celebrations will carry on into the night with a performance by non other than Tatty Devine fan Jessie J at Village Underground. Want to catch the super stylish singer in action? The Girl Effect are holding a ballot to make sure everyone is in with a chance of being there. Tickets are just £10 and if your name is drawn, you’ll also receive one of our limited edition "G" necklaces. We can't wait!
News flash! We're giving away three exclusive Girl Effect Necklaces over on Twitter. Simply tweet us with the name of the pop star who's headlining #GirlEffectLive by 6pm on Thursday 17th July. We'll pick three entries at random to win. Enter now!
What are you waiting for? Come along this Sunday, be inspired and join the movement.
