Team Tatty’s highlight? Archive pieces by one of the most influential British fashion labels of the 80s: BodyMap, who were best known for innovative silhouettes, graphic prints and groundbreaking fashion shows. Inspired by their tastemaking must-wear designs, we’ve created a capsule collection plucked straight from BodyMap’s instantly recognisable star motif.
“It was so great to be invited by the Fashion & Textile Museum to make jewellery for Outlaws and it was such an honour to be introduced to David and Stevie from BodyMap to make this collection happen. What the label did was groundbreaking, it’s so exciting to create a collection referencing such an important time for London and the fashion scene." - Harriet Vine MBE, Tatty Devine Co-Founder
Giving Club Kid: we’ve combined our signature laser cut acrylic style and a nod to 80s statement style with handcrafted glitter star jewellery made with layers of luxe black and gold acrylic. Made to be paired with striking tailoring and clashing prints, channel ‘more is more’ via our website, in our Covent Garden store or keep scrolling for MORE!
“David Holah and Stevie Stewart's designs were an inspiration during the 1980s on the catwalk and, especially, in the disco where club kids would dazzle in their highly inventive creations. It's a thrill to see their distinctive star motif make a return thanks to Tatty Devine. Looking forward to seeing Bodymap once again dazzling on the dancefloor.” - Martin Green, Outlaws: Fashion Renegades of 80s London Curator
