AM1 Motorbike Necklace: MADE TO ORDER
MADE TO ORDER & DISPATCHED FROM: 19th May 2025
Collection: Tatty Devine x Grayson Perry
An ode to a masterpiece showcased within the British Museum at the 2011 exhibition, The Tomb of the Unknown Craftsman and more recently at Royal Scottish Academy: accentuate your artistic side in the AM1 Motorbike Necklace. Designed in collaboration with Sir Grayson Perry, we've recreated this magnificent motorcycle produced to send the artist’s 50-year-old teddy bear and muse, Alan Measles on a pilgrimage to Germany, in a high-saturation palette of incandescent laser cut acrylic.
Inscribed with “patience”, an antidote to the rocker lifestyle, emblazoned with naive-style frills and flowers: this work of sartorial splendour is complete with a pearly phallic-shaped bike seat and wheels that really spin. Not to be forgotten, Perry’s designated deity sits in a sparkling shrine. Pair this versatile vehicle jewellery with pastel-toned leathers and vintage headscarves for looks to kick-start conversations.
Keep water, perfume and other sprays and lotions away from your jewellery, as moisture can discolour metal parts. Always store and transport your jewellery in its box. For more information visit our dedicated Jewellery Care & Repair page.
